Friday was Mikayla's birthday. My little girl is 3 years old! She didn't really get that it was her birthday but she did really get into her presents! She didn't really care what was inside she just wanted to rip the paper.

After licking some of the frosting off she grabbed the candle and shoved it back into the cupcake. So we moved onto ice cream for a treat instead.
What a year Mikayla has had. Learning to stand on her own and the big accomplishment of walking! It has been fun to watch her grow and change. While she can be shy and quiet, she has a spunk about her that just makes me smile. While she has few words her ability to communicate with others is amazing. This girl never ceases to amaze me. Happy Birthday Mikayla Jo!
