snow!

Yesterday morning we woke up to snow on the ground. Now I must admit I was not all that excited, however, there were two girls in this house who were very excited. Jennifer was beside herself with excitement when she saw the snow. I had to convince her that we had to wait until after church to play outside. Then we had to wait until after rest time, which was very hard.

When we finally made it outside Mikayla was a little unsure...

 But it didn't take her long to warm up and start playing.

 As you can imagine Jennifer was very excited to get outside! Her first stop was down the slide.

 Then she wanted to have a snowball fight, here she is chasing down dad with a snowball in hand.

 Now as you can see there was not much snow but Jennifer was fairly certain that a snowman needed to be made. So they tried their best to get one made.

 After Bill rolled a nice ball Mikayla thought it looked like a great place to sit, she didn't really care that it was suppose to be a part of the snowman.

 This did make for a good picture opportunity. 

 One last effort at the snowman...

The snowman did not last long before it got knocked over, by Mikayla. We also got the sleds out, which the girls loved, even if it was just being pulled around the yard. We packed a lot of activities into just a small amount of snow, I can't wait to see what we will do with lots of snow!
